    hi ladies! We will be moving to Austin from Balitimore in a months time. I have two daughters in 7th and 9th grades. Can you pls advice about neighborhoods and schools where we can look into? We visited Austin this weekend and came across this forum from Austinindia site. I am very happy to see so many ladies from Austin. Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Indirakumar,

    Welcome to Austin! Hope you got to see this post in the other thread: Moving to Austin - where to live?

    Hope you also got to see Rin123's suggestions to you about deciding on a place keeping it closer to you/your DH's office.

    If you choose to stay North of Austin / Round Rock, they have great middle schools and high schools and hugely desi populated communities like Beharans Ranch, Walsh Ranch, Ranch at Brush Creek, Avery Ranch, etc. Only disadvantage would be if you have to go towards downtown for work you have to plan for the traffic.
