    The toughest task in the world is Motherhood.From the first day of pregnancy she has to suffer a lot but she enjoys .For the first three months she can’t eat routine food due to Nausea and get tired. Then till the birth of the child she has to walk ,sit or sleep carefully to safeguard the child.Even if she falls down by accident she cover her stomach with both hands to avoid disturbance to her child.Then come the Pregnancy pain which she tolerate with great patience and bring her child to see the world.Those days they say it is a second birth to a women.If she breast feed the child ,she controls her diet as it may affect the child. Dhal varieties,spicy food and chill food is totally avoided till solid food given to the child.so a Mother nurture her children with nutritious food,good discipline ,helps in studies and finally look for a good girl /boy and help them to settle down in life.This is first part of the Motherhood.

    Then come the second part as a good mil,good mother and a good grandma.If her son/daughter do mistakes people blame her saying her brought up is not good.Now a mother begin to think what is wrong in HER brought up?i have taught them good qualities and they are genuine in their activities bringing laurels to the family.Are they really changed after marriage or they are not up to the expectation of others?Now she is totally confused and come to a conclusion that '"Expectations bring turmoil in a family."

    As a mother she gets blamed for her children's mistakes but she stands firm as a rock and faces the blame.Nothing can be compared to her patience of carrying her child in the womb for Ten months . so i think a Motherhood is the toughest task which is faced with ease by unconditional love.

    You are right Periamma. I remember reading about the 50+ ailments that a mother faces in the 10 months , as written by Sri. Sankaracharya.
    Perhaps we equalize the unconditional love that we received as a kid to our kids. Nicely written. -rgs

    Hatsoff to mothers..... Mom's role can never be replaced by anyone. Her love and care is always unconditional.
    Well expressed article maa :thumbup::clap2:
    very well said. But blaming parents for kids mistakes is something to be thought.. First, we got to correct ourselves before we blame others.

    Thank you!

    Very true words ma. Best role played by a woman is being a mother and toughest too...

    I salute all mothers for their sacrifices and patience.

    Truly and thoroughly understood the plight of a mother only after becoming a mother myself.

    Great snippet ma.
