Poonam - I cudn't get hold of a net that will fit me in too !! So, as of now trying to put her to sleep and moving her to the cradle :((
Lee - I occasionally see LO pulling the net off the cradle and putting it around her neck. Scary .... but I keep a watch !

My DD is bitten all over her face by mosquitoes. I picked up lemon grass oil as mentioned by Anitha and will be applying it over her face.

Plant oils mosquitoes don't like are citronella, jojoba, neem, witch hazel, tea tree oil, peppermint, lemon basil, lemon oregano, lemon geranium, lemon grass, catnip, eucalyptus and pennyroyal.

Just thought of sharing the link with you. You can try different combinations with the oils available at home.

    Ramya, Vidya,

I found the neem oil application on my LO's face very effective for mosquitoes. It is safe on the skin too. It needs reapplication and I apply the neem oil every 4 hours.

    Ramya,

It is a local brand nothing hi fi just 35 bucks. Manufactured by Arihant Enterprise. Cheapest and the best, I even find it is an effective skin cleanser too ;-)
