More Follicles

    I am PCOS/Thyroid

    Underwent Ovarian drilling and hysteroscopy on Feb 2nd

    Period was 4-5 days delay..

    On Day 8th, there are three follicles 12,12,12

    On Day 10th, there are ten of them 10,10,10,10,10 10,10,12,10,10 with endometrium 7mm..

    We planned IUI.. Can multiple follicles be a problem..

    Hi op,

    No need to worry if there is more follicles. you still have a 12mm follicle so please wait for the progress..When a follicle becomes dominating others tend to shrink automatically.

    so what ? may be ur follicle is growing slowly.. Avoid stress and think positive. If ur next scan shows nil growth then ask ur re to give supporting medication for the growth.

    wait for the progress... It some time shrinks.. am not sure about the reason, but even i have had one such cycle...

    Hi Ladies,
    I am TTC..but no luck ..My period cycle is 35days..Doc asked me to have Siphene 100 mg from Day 2 of my period for 5 days..also advised me to hv a follicular scan this month,
    8th Day - Right Ovary MSF 12X10 mm, Left Ovary MSF 9X8 mm.. Endometrium - 2.9 mm
    11th Day - No changes in the size of the follicle, Endometrium - 5.5 mm

    I am worried as why my follicle sizes has not increased since 8th day

    Any suggestions?

    Did the doctor give u any injections to push the follicles.
    The follicles should grow at the rate of 1-2mm in a normal cycle sometime more in induced/ stimulated cycle.
    Try speaking to the doctor why the follicles aren't responding.
    Do u have pcos?

    Hi

    Doctors prefer follicles 18mm to 20mm and endo lining between 7 to 9mm at time of iui.

    Only in ivf multiple follicles is issue..
    Iui it doesnt matter.. Dont stress too mucg monitoring and googling.

    Just relax and divert mind with different activities and let doctor decide..

    And ensure u take bed rest after iui transfer for 2ww..
