my mom is an expert in handwork and drawings. though im nt tat good, im jus tryin to do litl bit...

im in the beginning stage...jus wntd to show my work to u al...finishing is nt tat perfect...but, im sure, i can improve soon..

1. to start wit...GANESHA..stuck the idol to the plate, and tied wit a thread too
2. im nt soo good in drawin...so, bare wit tis.. stuck 1 of my old ear-stud too (thodu or kammal)
3. Its WIP....yet to finish

Candle making...

Hi ILS,
I found many asking about candle making...esp the Rose candles...
now i will tell you how you should do it...
1) You can buy the candle mould..for the rose candle you get silicon mould which will cost you just 150 to 180 max to max...

2) Double boil the wax in a vessel.

3) dip the thread in the wax,you will find a hole in the mould insert it into it.

4) pour it in the mould.

5) allow it to cool.

6) gently turn the candle it will come out..

7) you rose candle is ready...

TIP....you can use kids crayons to boil...you will get diffrent colours too...

organdy flowers and foil work on pot

this is a craft work after a long period of time, because of my pre boards, the first two pics are of organdy flower bouquet i created, and second is of a foil work on a pot.

SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY, JUST BUSY WITH THE EXAMS,
THE PROCEDURE FOR the FOIL WORK ON THE POT IS:
1-TAKE A POT FIRST AND TAKE A JUTE ROPE AND MAKE A WAVE DESIGNS ON THE POT, STICKING the ROPE WITH THE HELP OF FEVICOL ON THE POT,
2-NOW CREATE M SEAL FLOWERS AND SET THEM ASIDE TILL THEY ARE DRY,
3-NOW STICK THE FLOWERS ON THE POT WITH THE HELP OF FEVICOL,
4-NOW TAKE ENOUGH FOIL THAT COVERS THE POT AND CRUSH IT WITH A SOFT HAND,
5-APLY FOIL ON THE WHOLE POT AND WITH A VERY SOFT HAND, AS THE FOIL TENDS TO GET EASILY TORN, BUT don’t WORRY WHEREVER THE FOIL TENDS TO GET TORN U CAN PATCH IT UP,
6-NOW LET THE POT DRY FOR ATLEAST ONE DAY,
7-NOW TAKE GOLD POWDER AND CLEAR SYNTHETIC VARNISH AND MIX WELL AND PAINT the POT GOLDEN,
8-WHEN DRY DECORATE ACCORDING TO UR TASTE AND CHOICE

i did one fur doll. actually i had the cuttings me withme for the past one year, but now only i did this and posted it here. and i had seen many of our ilites work in the cd, so i also tried in my waste cd. have a look and i made four woolen bands in white colour for my daughters for thier school days to wear. how is it??
