    Hi everybody on indusladies. i am new to indusladies. registered today. i liked this site very much. it is very useful for ladies. can any one tell me where i can get receipes for various types of vadiyalu.

    Hi welcome to IL,

    and also to my thread. I have given many types of vadiyalu. ( in Tamil we call it as VAthal / vadam) so you can see my thread. I gave the link here . you just click on that and go through it. I f you want more than that you can ask me.:)

    Ingredients

    one cup chana dal
    green chilly- 3 to 4
    ginger
    salt
    lemon or raw mango juice 3 tea spoon
    oil for seasoning.
    coriander for garnishing.

    Method

    Soak chana dal for 3 to 4 hours.

    Grind soaked chana dal with green chilly, ginger roughly.

    After that add salt and lemon juice

    Season that with oil, mustard seeds, cumin (if you need more spicy add red chilly).

    Garnish with coriander leaves.

    Melt butter, Add flour and stir until the raw flavour disappears.
    Add milk slowly, whisking vigorously so that no lumps will form.
    Simmer for 2-3 minutes and use as required.

    Spaghetti Masala

    Ingredients:

    Spaghetti : 1 cup (boiled and drained)
    Onion : 1 (Chopped in long slices)
    Green chilies 4 – 6 chopped
    Tomato : 1 cut
    Cumin seeds ½ - 1 sp
    Oil : 1 tea sp.


    Method:

    In a pan, take oil, and then put cumin seeds.
    Then put onion. Fry it for 2 min.
    Add green chilies.
    Add tomatoes and fry for 2 min.
    Add cooked Spaghetti in it. Mix well.
    Let extra water evaporate and serve hot.
    You can serve with tomato ketchup.

    Spaghetti with Vegetable

    Ingredients:

    Spaghetti : 1 cup (boiled and drain)
    Onion : 1 (Chopped in long slices)
    Capsicum : 1/2 (finely chop)
    Cabbage : 1 cup (finely chop)
    Tomato : 1 (cut)
    Tomato sauce : 1 tsp
    Chili sauce : 1tsp
    Salt & Pepper : as per taste
    Oil : 1tbsp

    Method:

    In a pan, take oil, and then put onion. Fry it for 2 min.
    Now add capsicum. Fry it again for 2 min.
    Now add cabbage and let it cook on medium heat till it become tender.
    Add tomatoes and saute it till oil is separated.
    Now put tomato sauce & chili sauce, salt and pepper.
    Add cooked spaghetti, mix well.
    Let extra water evaporate and serve hot.

    Note: You can add cauliflower, French beans or any other veg. as per your taste.
