Re: kheer Poppy seed kheer jaggery poppy seeds cashew nuts - few raw rice - 3/4 spoon coconut milk - 1/2 tin milk cardamom Method: in a pan fry cashew nuts & rice without oil. once switch off the stove add poppy seeds & fry in the pan's heat itself. be sure that poppy seed's color dosent change. make this as a fine powder or pine paste in a mixie or in a coffee grinder. in a vessel melt the jaggery with some water. after the jaggery melted add the paste in it & bring it to boil. allow it to boil little. in this stage add coconut milk & milk. when this gravy started to become thick add cardomom powder, mix well & switch off the stove. serve this kheer when it is hot.
