    Hi Friends in Australia,

We are contemplating migrating to Australia. I wanted to gather together a thread that has links to all the best resources to explore the option of migrating to Canada. If you know any good resource or know any information, please post them here. Your personal experience in migrating to Australia would also be immensely helpful to all that are intending to follow your footsteps. Thank you.

    Re: Indian in Melbourne

    Dear Chetna,

Hi, my name is Lakshmi & i am from Mumbai..I live in Melbourne with my Hubby

Chetna where will you be living in Melbourne? A simple map of good Indian stores in Melbourne would be in Clayton, Dandenong in South eastern suburbs..A simple way to find out would be to go into any Indian restaurant (trust me there are heaps in Melbourne) & pick any local Indian news paper.

As for Food...Chetna Melbourne is Australia's food capital...The best eating joints are on Lygon stret, Bridge road & Dandnong..the best refernce website I suggest is The Age - News, Business News, Melbourne Australia News and Media just click on epicture or go to Wotif.com: Australia Hotels, Accommodation, Motels & click on choices.

You have alot of asscociations based on language, state etc..Your stay will be good...

    Cheers,

    Lakshmi
