So, here goes the recipe with the available items in your house. Ingredients: long grain rice – 3 cups water – 4.5 cups garlic – 2 cloves finely chopped peppers – green, red, orange, yellow – 1/4 cup each or any 1 pepper 3/4 cup celery – 2 sticks finely chopped onion – 1 chopped mint powder(dry mint leaves) or oregon – 1 tsp red chillie sauce – 1/4 tsp salt – 1.5 tsp basil – 6-7 sprigs tomato ketchup or tomato puree – 6-7 tsp beans – any kind handful like kidney, edamme, peas, garbanzo, etc olive oil – 2.5 tsp Method: In a large non-stick pan heat oil, add rice without washing and nicely stir it, until all the rice grains are coated with oil and color of rice slightly changes. Add onions, stir it, add peppers, celery, parsley, beans and stir them. Add garlic, rub mint or oregon with your hands until powder falls on the rice, stir it; add the tomato ketchup and water, mix it thoroughly, cover the lid and cook for atleast 20 min in med heat. After 20 min, stir it gently from the bottom and let it cook in the low flame for 3-4 min, turn off flame and let it rest for 5 mins.
