    Good to see the pics. I will also ct all veggis which are going to use in the week and store in tupperwear container in fridge. But I have a doubt that is they remain fresh. some times I felt some veggis became light sticky. Is it safe to cut all veggis on suday and use one by one upto next sunday ?

    No, do not cut all vegetables.
    They will spoil if kept for a week.
    Some veggies stay good and some have to be cut just befor cooking only.

    If you check my Mondays cooking that I posted, I cut the okra(ladys finger) only Monday morning.

    One more guideline
    4. Use the veggies that spoil quick, early in the week.
    If I have greens, I plan my menu using the greens the first two days.
    Then the softer veggies - such as okra, pumpkin, snake gourd, etc.
    Then the hardier veggies such as beans , cabbage, etc.

    @kkrish - I need to take down my menus. Handwriting woes :fearscream::fearscream: . You even write beautifully and draw neat lines on an weekly menu :)

    With the advent of the IP, I'm growing more and more annoyed with the kids who don't eat regular Indian food and make me stand on my head every day. Like everyone says, it's mostly my own fault :) I gave in to my DD's daily demands while in india with a cook on hand and now it's payback time :)

    Kids are back to school :eek::yikes: and my kitchen is literally falling apart. @Kaput Thank you so much for the thread.:beer-toast1:
    @kkrish I am going to not only steal ur tips I am shamelessly planning to stea/ ur menu too. Planning the menu takes the most time for me. Once that is done rest just falls in place.
    @Laks09 wonderful meal plans.
    Storing chopped veggies.
    Store chopped veggies in containers after adding few teaspoons of salt and a teaspoon of turmeric. They remain fresh easily for upto a week . Keep them in the back portion of ur fridge.
