Marriage Counselors around Houston

Hi,

I am not sure what kind of problems/issues you are dealing with but just one quick suggestion. Why to waste money to Counselor?

1) If we cannot solve our problems, no one else can. Counselor only listen and give you two three options but finally again it is you/ hubby who will need to apply those suggestions in life. So again, if you cannot solve your problems no one else can.

2) When it comes to listening, share your problems here on IL, I have seen and read lot of posts with good and bad experiences people have in their lives. IL are always available to give you some advise and if not, at least they will pray for you which Counselor won't do.

3) Do the analysis of your problems and perhaps you can come up with your solution on your own.

Again, please don't take me wrong..I was just telling you the fact of life.

Instead of searching for counselors Search For U....
Life is wonderful don't loose it...

1. Keep everything aside
2. Sit in ur pooja room or in front of ur god
3. Ask urself what i did is correct or wrong
4. Ask ur god to kill ur EGO (first enemy)
5. Whatever wrong thing he does pls forgive him
6. Pray god to get more patience

When he comes back from office give him a hug and say that u love him...
thats it c h everything will be changed in ur life...

I totally agree with you. When two handed man can't help, turn yourself to the one who has thousands hands (GOD)..HE sure will listen and help

So many counselors are money minded and its obviously there profession so they
r keen on money and they drag their issues for long time and they won't come to an end...

V can save her life...

Even though she is not gone to that extremes..i would like to tell one thing...

Second marriage is horrible in this world..

Since i have seen so many people have told to me that I WOULD HAVE ADJUSTED WITH MY FIRST HUSBAND/WIFE ITSELF...IAM LEADING A HORRIBLE LIFE...

I think if OP is seeking for a counselor that means there is still a hope, she may not be looking for second marriage/divorce option. Let's hope that it is right.

Whoa !!! Talk about 'jumping to conclusions'

All the OP did was ask for a recommendation for a good counselor. Venting out does not always solve a problem.

I am not from Houston and I cannot recommend anyone however some of the replies made me post here.

Whats wrong in visiting a therapist or counselor? Sometime we need a third non-judgmental party to give us insight on a few things. Also counselors/therapists have tools that might help us look at things in a different perspective.

Also when your partner might not be willing to discuss things with a common friend/family. So in such cases its best to go to a counselor.

Please don't write of counseling/therapy so soon. It can be a life saver sometimes
