    HI ALL

I am diagonised with GD at 12weeks.

I am on diet and insulin (No excercise as FET pregnancy, complete bed rest)

I am using 20units morning and 10units in night(nothing in noon)
Is it high dose for 17 weeks ???

Still sometimes i get anything between 130-150.
(Like one reading of day, or one reading in 2-3days goes above 130)

Do you all always get below 120 ???

How much dose per day you are taking ?

    Hi,
I was also having GD in my pregnancy. It was diagnosed in my 2nd month of pregnancy. and was on medicine and from 7 th month was on insulin.

Do not worry about the insulin units. the medicine will not cross the placenta. It is very important to keep the sugar level normal as the high level of sugar will cross the placenta and not the medicines.

If you feel your sugar level is higher even after insulin then after consulting your doctor you increase your insulin units it is completely safe.

Keep watch on your diet. When your sugar level goes up after your meal then do re think of eating those things again.
All the best i can understand your state of mind as i also suffered with these things in my pregnancy.
The best way to keep your sugar level normal is to not think about it and always be happy and tension free.
One thing i can a sure you, your baby will be completely fine. try to do some pranayams it will be beneficial for your baby oxygen supply and to keep your mind tension free.
All the Best and always be happy and stay positive.
