    @anjana: none of these gadgets/apps are perfect...like I wear my nike fuel band on my wrist...it's perfect when you walk and move your hands along with...if you don't do that...and just walk...it won't show much increase in steps...so while i run and do brisk walk...of course my hands move automatically...rest of the casual walk i don't think it measures that perfectly..but anway good for motivation! :)

    @Pinki I would like to thank you for this thread...ever since u have started this thread...I am trying to do at least 10,000 steps every day which is 4 miles +...thanks for the motivation! :)

    1st Mar: 2.7 miles
    2nd Mar: 1 mile
    3rd Mar: 2.3 miles
    4th Mar: 4.2 miles
    5th Mar: 4.1 miles
    6th Mar: 4.5 miles

    Total 18.8 miles in 6 days...wohoo!! :-D

    aaha thanks a lot Sunaa.. actually iam so selfish that i wanted some motivation from people so i start this tread.. to see how others are doing.. for god shake it actually motivating me to walk regularly..kind of pressure now it seems like we work really well in preassure..

    Thanks pinki, I think I find these challenges more comfortable than the weight loss, because here it is totally in your hands (or should I say legs?!) and you can meet it.. My LS 5 miles done today, 1/5th done 4/5th to go!!

    Thanks manali. I am using a fitbit one and it seems to tracking every single step I take. So I tried checking before and after LS walk, but it didnt show one mile there. I thought LS might be calculating steps equivalent to a mile. But it looks like its not like that.
