My first daughter was struck with viral meningitis when she was just four months' old. She became very critical and the Doctors gave her only 10% chance of a survival and they cautioned me that even if she survived, she would be crippled. I rushed her to a Child Specialist by name Dr.Bopiah in Wilson Garden in Bangalore where I was working at that time. Dr.Bopiah cured her and she did not suffer any ill effects of the dreadful disease. When the child was discharged from St.Philomena's Hospital, Dr.Bopiah went to Tirupathi to fulfill his vow that he had taken for my daughter. When I asked him about it, he said that all the three earlier cases with viral meningitis that he attended were dead and my daughter survived miraculously. He just went to offer his prayerful gratitude to Tirupathi.

Dear mansi,
I too a staunch believer of the saying-'Avananri oru anuvum asiyathu!'
All our wishful thinking could not fructify if He wishes against it. He knows what to give and what not to give. After matching the horoscope and ascertaining a good muhurtham and performing a marriage, something disastrous happens.It shows that there is one above us who plays a major role in our lives.

Dear Kamalji,
I too read that 11-11-11 news. People are crazy! Choosing the date of birth and time .... someone should take a survey and find out about their success in life.
The sons seeing their dad for the last time at least give them some solace even though they can't converse with him.
