In the early hours of Wednesday, Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra was spotted outside Karan Johar’s house, looking a little lost and high, as if he was drunk.Making matters worse, the Hasee Toh Phasee actor started his bike and ran into a flower pot which was a decorative piece at the entrance of the house.
He looked all shaky and unstable on his feet and just couldn’t control his bike. Finally, a security guard came to Sid’s rescue, as he helped the actor get on his bike. Soon after that, he hot his balancing right, fastened his helmet and zoomed off from Karan’s apartment.

 

Post Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani, when new broke out about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone coming together yet again, and this time for Imtiaz Ali’s next, Window Seat, fans were ecstatic about it. But guess who wasn’t the happy one? Well, it was Ranbir Kapoor. The actor was keen on having Alia Bhatt act opposite him instead.

“Ranbir has always believed that Alia has a lot of potential as an actor. So he had suggested her name, and asked if she fits the role. But she is too young for the part,” Imtiaz Ali told to a leading English daily.

Initially, Alia and even Katrina were in contention to play the leading lady but Deepika came like a whirlwind and swept the role off into her kitty.
Imtiaz has worked with Deepika in Love Aaj Kal and has written Cocktail for her.

 

This new actor on the block with two hits is reportedly quite a ‘swinger’. He’s said to have dated his co-star from his first film while he already has a girlfriend. It is also told that he’s not immune to male attention when punch drunk.

Bollywood actor Abhay Deol is facing financial problems after his maiden production 'One By Two', flopped miserably. The star has availed of a loan against his property

Bollywood actor Abhay Deol has had to mortgage his Juhu flat to take care of his financial worries. A public notice in this regard has been published.

The apartment is located in Pandurang Co-operative Housing Society in Pandurang Wadi, Juhu. While no specific details of the loan amount are available, the evaluation of the flat won't be more than Rs 2-3 crore.

Sources said his monetary woes are a result of his maiden production One By Two doing terribly at the box office. Besides this, the film couldn't earn money off its music, because the producers had a tussle with the record label over contract issues.

The expenditure on the film was Rs 8 crore; Deol produced it with five other people. Confirming the matter, the actor said, `I have availed a loan for which I had to give papers for this property as surety.` A source close to Deol added, `He is currently residing in another house of his in Santacruz. He is redoing his Goa property.`
If he fails to repay the loan, the bank would declare his property as a Non-Performing Asset, seize it, and later auction it off. According to sources in the real estate industry, the flat is a 2BHK and its market rate is R3-4 crore. The price in the neighbourhood is higher for apartments that face the sea.

 

With Shruti Hassan's Hindi film career back on track in Bollywood with Welcome 2 and Gabbar besides more in the pipeline, her father Kamal Haasan has stopped worrying for her.

Shruti had a disastrous start with Luck in 2009. Kamal now wants her to consolidate her position.

What he said: In his TV show Satyamev Jayate, Aamir is vocal about his opposition to social evils - be it rape, water scarcity or safety of senior citizens. In fact, he dedicated one whole episode to problems faced by senior citizens; here he dwelt on their exploitation not just by outsiders but also by their family members.

What he did: In stark contrast to his image is the recent news about how he has apparently been forcing senior citizen residents in his society to sell him their apartments. These residents have now alleged that the society's managing committee has been favouring the actor. They have allegedly stated that the actor is not a developer and does not have the right to force them out of the building.

What he said: At first, he said that he is not interested in politics and he doesn't like his film Jai Ho being linked to Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) fight against corruption. He the announced that he would vote for two Congress candidates. `In my constituency (Bandra), it's Baba Siddiqui and Priya Dutt,` he said.

What he did: On a tour to promote his film Jai Ho in Gujarat during Makar Sankranti, he praised Modi. He went on to say, `Modi saab should be able to fulfill his destiny. He is a great man; I have not seen this sort of development elsewhere and voters must decide who is most suitable. So if you think Modi saab is best for you, vote for him.` He added that Modi doesn't need to apologise for the Godhra riots since the court has already pronounced him not guilty.

 

Me too, havent got the time or mood to listen to Kochadaiyaan songs. Even if the songs are bad by ARR's standard, I'm pretty sure they are too much for a cartoon film like that!

Regarding Kaaviya Thalaivan, it was supposed to be based on S.G.Kitappa and K.B.Sundrambal's life story. I think that's why you have Prithviraj dressed in a woman's costume in one still as the men used to do female characters in stage dramas those days (As women were prohibited or discouraged from acting in stage dramas)

 

Sanjay Dutt who was on a one month parole after his wife Maanyata complained of lung complications bid farewell to his family as he left for Pune's Yerwada jail. Sanjay was released from jail on 21st December.

Maanyata and kids Shahraan and Iqra Dutt said their goodbyes as Sanjay left after an extended three month stay. He was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and is to serve the remainder of his five-year imprisonment at Yerawada since May 2013.
