Maestro Ilayaraja's 'Thiruvasagam in Symphony'

    Hi Ladies,

    I got a copy of this CD yesterday - 'Thiruvasagam in Symphony' by the Maestro. I listened to those songs, simply awesome. Amazing work by Ilayaraja. No wonder there was such a big hype about the release!

    This album includes 6 tracks, in which Ilayaraja sings 5 of them himself and it really gives a divine feeling. In one of the song, Bavadharini, his daugther too has joined him. The CD plays for little more than a hour, but you will tend to forget yourself once you start listening to it.

    Did any of you listen to it? Share your comments, it will be good to hear about this great work.

    Did you buy the CD online? I checked out in Amazon sometime back and it said no stock available.

    Let me know if there is a trustful site to buy it.

    Thiruvasagam - great work!

    I got to read that Thiruvasagam in Symphony was Ilayaraja's 2 years project. It has been worked out great!

    When I purchased the CD in a nearby shop, I also got a book with the lyrics. That helped in following the thiruvasagam verses more close and get to the deep of it. I enjoyed the song 'Polla Vinayen...' to the best!

    Hello ladies,
    Truly amazing is the experience when one listens to Thiruvasagam. It moves your soul and heart and the music melts you. There is a saying that no soul in this earth could not be left untouched by Thiruvasagam. Ilayaraja has added a new dimension to the Thiruvasagam lyrics and taken it to today's youth.

    Ilayaraja's daughter bavadharini

    Hi friends,

    Do u know what is the latest news in Ilayaraja's family. His daughter Bavadharini is getting engaged to a guy called abariraja who is an advertising executive.

    Ilayaraja seems to be having good luck both in career and family - all blessings from God.
