Lunch Ideas - Creating Balanced Vegetarian Meals

    Hi all,
    After a very very longggggggggggg time I'm here. Hope all of you remember me. How are you shanvy? Last 2 years big change for me. I'm not getting time in office to update or read IL. My colleague she resigned and I'm the only one in my department. Sometimes I peep but couldn't reply. Now things are getting better. I arrange myself to accept the pressure. Things going smoothly now. But Im not ok with my diet, weight loss and all. From last week I started my diet and slowly coming on track. So I decided to come here and spend 5 to 10 minutes everyday, whenever Im free. To get motivation without IL no motivation. Hope all are good and well. Have to read lot of messages. Hopefully I will come here everyday to update my diet and to see all your dishes to get some ideas.

    hi good morning all,

    Yday's menu was
    BF Multigrain bread with feta cheese + daal - Sandwich + green tea
    Mid time snack Pomegranates + ginger lemon tea
    Lunch sambhar rice + salads + microwaved papad
    Evening snack oreo biscuit dates filling sweet ( From office)-one pc
    Dinner Rice + paneer curry

    Breakfast Bread with cheese sandwich + Raagi koozhu with laban and salt
    Lunch : Rice with paneer masala gravy + koorkai & tovaramani fry
    Mid time - Peanut candy + ginger lemon tea
    Dinner Dosai Molagapodi

    Hope all are well. Friday and Saturday off for me. so relaxed couldn't update here. Today's menu:
    BF: Dosa with molagapodi
    Mid time snack : Ginger tea with lemon and orange
    Lunch : rice small cup + beetroot salad + vegetable soup(soup neighbor gave me :D:D)
    Evening snack : pomegranate.

    Look who is back, @shodin how are you doing. we missed your colorful meals.. lovely lovely spread and inspiring.. keep it coming..

    I still say that consistency is much needed and trying to be fit is a way of life..and a lifestyle changes and you enjoy doing the inclusive fitness and living habits instead of feeling restricted in the need to exercise and diet..

    eating healthy 100% is a myth, what with contamination coming into our life in all forms..

    my young man, called me this afternoon, putting across a very strong argument, after his class on environment.. and says, none in my class are worried about the happenings, and what can be done at grassroot level..they think they are insular to it..while a diver in dover islands cleans things that are from india..the currents carry them..well to take up more space about what else we discussed may digress..

    maybe doing our wee bit, helps..every drop from each of us can make a huge impact. we had discussed moving to steel and glass for health purposes, and today it means a lot more..

    when your vegges call out to you...lol.. they call out even when i am on vacation, to the extent i was so obsessed with a farmer's market in belgium..fresh veggies and berries i say..death of me..

    a bowl of salad and some buttermilk is all you need sometimes..
