    Hi ladies
Initially , seeing all your plates I thought i can't survive on that amount of rice.but now after gradually reducing the portion my rice s really less(weekend s can't control). portion control is really helpful.
    Good luck to all

@Shanvy Inspired by you, I tried my hand at a different salad from the usual. Capsicum, raw mango, carrot, cucumber, tomato & roasted hazelnuts. Dressing of lime juice, honey, salt and pepper.

Waiting for husband to give feedback when he comes home for lunch. Lunch is brown rice, red amaranth spinach dal, salad and minty buttermilk. Feeling so excited to prepare and eat healthy. Thanks for the inspiration.

True. Today whole day i felt so cool due to eating this raw salad. Usually i feel perplexed due to relentless heat. I feel i could just eat a big serving of this salad for lunch. So nice for this weather.

This may be self-congratulatory but after passively watching pages and pages in this thread of rotis and dosas which are round for everyone but shapeless for me, esp Gauri's which are cut with a compass and circular divider,

    upload_2018-4-29_10-56-38.png

I poured and rolled something I could call a "circle" finally.

Thank you @Shanvy for the thread and its attendant inspiration.
