@Rakshini good that you are comitted. yes these waters make drinking water easy and have their own benefits. i do dahamukti too sometimes. i drink a lot of tea. berry tea, ginger, hibiscus along with flavored water.

@SunPa i still have to share the kambu kozhukattai recipe. will do it soon dear.

i had a some oats that expire month end with the kids away and the better half not liking it as porridge you tend to become creative..

    oats idiyappam..

the final product..it was too stiff to press down as i could not handle it hot today. maybe adding a tblsp of rice flour may do the trick..

did not want to hurt my shoulder. so went the kozukattai way. the dough rolled into small balls steamed tempered with mustards, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, coconut and hing and a dash of spiced powder. it melted in the mouth. so a gnocchi like feel..my kids would have enjoyed it as dumplings in sauce..maybe another day

If only I could reach in and grab a few

Totally think kozhukattai is a option- kids actually prefer that to idiyappam

Ok, need to just powder the oats in mixie first , then just use as rice flour?
    Gonna try this week
