    @Rakshini do not ever feel guilty of enjoying these feasts. they are balanced and made for a reason and sticking to the traditions mean they are wholesome goodness be it the pongal or the sugarcane.

    we add some extra ghee while eating the pongal.
    and shocking your brain with extra calories will confuse them and add to it your happiness in eating .. so you may not even gain extra. so dont think of cheat days.

    enjoy what you are doing without becoming obsessed..
