Buy from impcops, khadishops or regular vegetable shops like pazhamudir cholai. Try a small bottle. All dabba chetty(naatu marundu) shops have them and honey soaked almond

And it is good but high kn calories so keep note of that. Coolant.

Try it satch. Will add more as i try.:p

Some tips from a long term MFP user -

    1. MFP low-balls the recommended calories. 1200 is pretty much default for everyone. Manually increase yours to 1450. Under 1400 will make you feel deprived.

    2. Under the Food tab, you will see the recipes option. When you click on recipes, you will see 'old recipe calculator' on the right of the page. You can use this to manually calculate calories in homemade recipes. Ingredients can be added from the MFP database. I am telling you this just to point out that there is a way to calculate calories for your own recipes, but seeing how stressed you already are, I DON'T recommend it for you Satchi! : )

Your best bet is to search for a food, see the range of calories in the database entries, for say idli, and pick the middle of the range value. For your peace of mind don't overthink it.

    3. For a few weeks simply log. Don't worry about accuracy and precision. The act of logging alone is sufficient in most cases.

    4. If counting calories is adding to your stress levels then give it up and go by your gut instinct. The added stress is not worth it.

Those are useful tips Gauri. I have always maintained a diary of everything I eat - an Excel sheet. However, I was really stuck on the weight. So decided to give this a try. That is a good idea - take the middle value of any item. As for manual calculations, shall check it out. If it works fine, otherwise shall stick to this only calorie count. Good idea. Shall see what happens to weight when I up it to say 1400-1500. Inclusive of reduction in water retention (it keeps going up and down), I have lost about a kilo over the last 4-5 days. If the weight shows an upward trend, then I guess I shall have to stick to 1200.
