Episode 56:


Days were flying….Sandhya got married to her Ram. The girls had a nice time in Sandhya’s marriage just like Lekha’s marriage. Now they were much happier than before since their gang got complete.

Sandhya and Ram started for their honeymoon, Rathna got back to Pune, Jaanvi resumed her work and Lekha got back to Hassan.

Amar was slightly tensed as he kick started his bike.

“So….I have to get everything done soon…”

“She has to manage….”

“My other procedures will be taken care by the company”

"What else should I think of…”

Amar was mentally busy and the auto pilot in him was driving his bike.

Lekha reached home and refreshed. She wore a dark black night suit and tied her hair into a messy bun.

After relishing a refreshing coffee, she kick started her evening routine.

She took a large bowl and added the measured quantity of wheat flour in it. Water on the stove was about to boil and she turned it off at once. She added salt followed by water. She started mixing the flour and she heard Amar’s bike.

She kept the bowl on the table and opened the main door and kept ready.

In few seconds, Amar stepped in and hugged her.

“Good evening my love!!!” – He kissed her passionately

“Very good evening! What do you want today? Shall I prepare dhal or paneer?” – Lekha smiled at him as she resumed mixing the dough.

“Before that I have got a good news” – Amar said with a smile

“You got promoted?!!!” – Lekha asked with curious eyes and smiling lips

“Something like that….” – Amar smiled again

“Tell na….” - Lekha took away her hands from the dough and looked at him directly.

“I am going to London!!!!” – Amar said with excitement and Lekha was happy to hear that!!!

“Wow!!! How many days?!!!” – She smiled at him

“Days?!!!! Its going to be 3 months as of now” – Amar said as he removed his watch.

“What?!!!!” – Lekha’s face turned pale at once.

“Then what will I do?!!!!” – Lekha was shocked.

“You will be here! I will be back in 3 months na” – Amar said casually and Lekha froze in shock.

“Do you know what you are talking!!!?” – Lekha stood as such.

“What?!!! How will I be alone here?!!” – Lekha raised her voice.

Amar looked at her as that was the first time he is listening to her raised voice.

“My mom and dad are going to the Europe tour and I really don’t want to tell them. They will cancel the plan and come here to stay with me” – tears were building up in Lekha’s eyes.

“Yeah! I don’t want to disturb their plan either” – Amar came near Lekha.

“Then?!!! Neither your parents are here nor will my parents be!!! Then what about me?” – Lekha yelled

“What?!!! I don’t understand?! Are you a 10 years old kid?!!! You are going to be 27 years old lady!!! Don’t behave like a child” – Amar shouted at her

“Are you mad?!!! How will I be alone in a place? I don’t even know the language properly….I don’t know anyone here….” – Lekha

“I really don’t understand Lekha! A 27 years old lady can’t manage to live alone?!!!!” – Amar continued

“You know all the shops here….you know where we pay our bills..you know where are the hospitals here. You know everything…..then what?!!!!” – Amar replied in a loud voice.

“So?!!!! You are not bothered if something happens to me?!!!” – Lekha cried but her face was stern.

“Something?!!! Why are you so pessimistic?” – Amar said in an irritated tone

“After returning from office, I will be staying alone for the whole night….Do you think it’s kids’ play?” – Lekha

“Fine! So you want me to cancel my trip right? You know? Am the only one in my project to get this opportunity! Luckily my specialised skill is in demand and am the only person to support a critical project in London.” – Amar looked at her angry face.

“Tell me!!! Shall I tell my manager? My 27 years old wife cannot manage to stay alone. I have to be with her always. So I cannot go anywhere. Even if that ruins my career….Shall I tell? Come on…tell me….” – Amar pulled her arm angrily and Lekha cried

“I thought you loved me….” – Lekha cried again

“Oh!!! So you are saying I don’t love you and that's why I am going right? You are right…I don’t love you…I don’t love you…..” – he shouted

“Heyyyy…..” – Lekha

“I don’t love you right….let it be…..” – Amar

“I have never been alone…Don’t you know….” – Lekha said pathetically

“I know….but seriously didn’t think you will be like this Lekha” – Amar was frustrated

“Like this?!!! Like how…..” – Lekha asked him angrily

“Not fit to live independently…clingy” – Amar

“What?!!!” – Lekha jerked

“Yes!!! You want me to be with you always!!! No matter even if my wishes are getting crushed….” – Amar

“Your wishes?” - Lekha

“Yeah! Working in such a critical project is a lifetime experience. I wish to have that….That will be a very big plus in my career” – Amar sat on the dining table

“I understood!!! Everything is important to you. Your project….your career….your onsite opportunity…Money…everything. But not me…..You don’t bother or care about me” – Lekha yelled

“Yes!! I don’t care about you!! Have it that way! I don’t mind! Do whatever you want….Get lost” – Amar shouted and went out closing the main door with a big bang and Lekha stood still with the dried dough sticking to her fingers.
