Episode 46:


Jaanvi stood still and he smiled at her.

“Arun. You?!!!!” – She went near him.

She has seen him. She has seen him each and every day. Whenever she parked her two wheeler at home, he was sitting in veranda with a book and a pen.

He was none other than her house owner’s son. Whenever she yelled at Jaanvi’s family, he has seen how pathetic their faces went.

“why did you do this?!!!! What if your mom comes to know this?” – Jaanvi sat in shock.

“Why did you do this?!!!” – Arun smirked.

“Because I love you Jaanvi!!” – He said seriously

Though Jaanvi loved those words, her angry house owner’s face threatened her.

“But! What about your mom…She doesn’t like us…..” – Jaanvi said softly

“My mom? She is not my mom. I am her newphew! My parents couldn’t afford my upbringing. So from childhood she has been feeding me” – Arun said as he kept the rose on the table.

“Oh” – Jaanvi didn’t expect this.

Everyone thought Arun was her own son since he was always found at that house.

“Wont your aunt oppose our marriage?” – Jaanvi asked with a worried look.

“Its my mom and dad who have to decide!!!” –Arun said firmly

“My aunt is rude, short tempered, treats people based on their caste, she don’t even respect my uncle, everything is fact!! But she loved me and she loves me! Even if she doesn’t agree, we will get married. Because my mom and dad are always on my side. And that’s what is important” – Arun finished

“Did you say we will get married?” – Jaanvi looked at her with hesitation.

“I know you love me!!! And I love you sincerely!” – Arun smiled

“hmmm” - Jaanvi’s lips smiled slightly

“So! Will you get the rose now?” – he bent and looked into her eyes

“Yes” – she smiled and took it happily

“May I hold your hands as we walk now?” – he longed for that and Jaanvi gave him her hand.

Both walked outside the café and continued their walk in the shady roads. That was a planned area and all they had were too many parallel roads that connected to the main road.

Jaanvi and Arun happily walked together in every road in that darkness.

Jaanvi couldn’t believe what is happening!!!

Its almost 26 years that she had to wait to meet her soul mate.

Now I can go to the beaches and movies happily like other couples do. Now I can stand proud in front of my relatives who mocked at me and my mom. I have someone to share my happiness and sorrows. A shoulder to lean with. A partner!!!!

I have got a partner!!!! The love of my life!!! Jaanvi was on cloud nine though her hand was within his.

After few minutes, Jaanvi jerked as she checked the time.

“Its 8 o clock!!! I need to start now” – Jaanvi looked at him.

“Of course! You need to! Even I dnt check the time. Your beautiful face mesmerised me” – Arun said sincerely

“Beautiful face!!!!” – Jaanvi touched her cheeks gently.

“bye” – she smiled at him and started at once.

Time was almost 9 as she reached home.

Chithra never calls Jaanvi whenever she is out of the house. She knew Jaanvi can handle anything. And above all she trusted that her daughter will tell her each and everything.

“So late?” – Chithra asked as Jaanvi entered home.

“Yeah ma! Had work and moreover my colleagues called me for shopping. So spent time with them and came” – Jaanvi went inside the room.

“Where are you taking your lunch bag? Usually you give it to me right?” – Chithra looked puzzled

“oops! Yes ma. Sorry” – Jaanvi kept and rushed into the bedroom.

Usually she goes into the bedroom only after depicting each and everything to Chithra. But it was unusual for Chithra. She dint want to disturb her daughter's privacy and continued her work.

Jaanvi refreshed in few minutes and took her phone.

Jaanvi: “Reached home : )”

Arun: “Good! Couldn’t drop you at home! Sorry”

Jaanvi: “No problem!”

Arun: I love you so much : )

Jaanvi: : )

Arun: Have you noticed me when you stayed in my aunt’s house?

Jaanvi: Yeah! But I dint have guts to look at your face properly. Was afraid that your aunt might trash me for looking at you.

Arun: Hmmm. Yeah! She might have done.

Jaanvi: So you have seen me

Arun: Yes… Loved everything about you.

Jaanvi: : ) (blushes)

Jaanvi: So how did you know everything about me….

Arun: I followed you and I work in your new office

Jaanvi: My God! I never knew!!!

Arun: That was my advantage! Ha Ha Ha! I use to admire every move of you….You really have a good heart and I am really lucky to have you in my life Jaan!!! Please don't think am trying to flatter. I mean it.

Jaanvi’s eyes shed a drop of tear. There were many guys and families who rejected her saying that her horoscope is bad and she will bring all unluck to the house. At times, even Chithra has scolded her saying “You unlucky girl! How will I get you married”

But this is the first time someone saying that she will bring luck into someone’s life. She loved Arun for saying that. He dint expect her to look ravishing. He has already seen her at her worst and then proposed her.

Jaanvi didn’t want to wipe the tear drop. She wanted to cry. She wanted all the emotions that she has saved to flow out. She wanted to simply cry and cry.

She loved those tears for the first time. She wanted to cry more. She liked that.

Jaanvi: This is the first time I am hearing this Arun…..

Arun: I know! But I mean it! : )

Jaanvi: Thanks!

Arun: Thanks?!! You should say I love you! And I should thank you. I am sure, our life will be colorful.

Jaanvi: : )

Arun: By the way, will your mom accept me?

Jaanvi thought about Chithra. She will never say no to her daughter. Be it be anything. Only thing that she dint allow her is to straighten her curly hair. Other than that, there will never be a No from Chithra

Jaanvi: She might get shocked. But she will agree for sure.

Arun: Hmmm

Jaanvi: : )

Arun: Its time Jaanvi! Sleep now! We shall meet in office tomorrow!

Jaanvi: Sleep?! After this beautiful proposal? : )

Arun: So you liked it that much? : )

Jaanvi: Then what : )

Arun: : )

Jaanvi: Ok. Lets sleep now! Its getting late as you said

Arun: Oh my God! Lets sleep?!!! What do you mean ; )

Jaanvi: Hey! No no!!! I didn’t mean that

Arun: lol! I know! Just kidding

Jaanvi: Good night : ) she sent as she bit her tongue and smiled

“you idiot! How can you say “Lets sleep”. She kept talking to herself and smiled.

Finally I have got someone who loves me for who am. Loves me for the way I am. I need not spend hours and hours in front of the mirror to look beautiful to his eyes.

“Arun…..I love you…..” – Saying this she took her pillow and hugged tightly

Our gang is complete now.

The girls always dreamed to click a formal group photo with their spouses. They were waiting for Jaanvi’s partner.

At once I get married, we four girls will click a classic picture with our husbands and will frame it and hang it in the living room.
