Lost my baby in 39 weeks before 3 months. When can I try again ?

    Dear all,
    My baby was stillborn at 39 weeks on Oct 1 by C section in coimbatore. I am 30 years old
    and I am very much depressed and cant wait to try again. I feel I have recovered well now.
    Can anyone suggest by experience when can I try again ? One Gyn says 1 yr and other says atleast 6 months..
    I cant wait for long since I am already 30 but wld like to have a healthy baby too...
    Also pls suggest me a good gyn in coimbatore.

    any specific reasons given.

    I believe a woman's body takes almost a year to recover completely from pregnancy.In fact after c-section many advice 1/2 years definitely.

    there are lot of ladies out here who are above 30 and have conceived and delivered. take your time. recoup well, be fit and then try.

    The reason was, the cord got around the neck.

    I am so sorry for your loss Harini. But please wait for atleast a year. you need time to recover physically and mentally. You need some time for yourself. please wait and get your gynecs advise.

    my sis also delivered with suma natarajan.....as far as delivery and care was concerned it was very good....

    I would recommend Dr Babu Rani, she will take absolutely no risks and takes care of her patients very extensively.

    Listen to your body and mind, if you think you are ready (as the early reason was cord around neck and no other complication), then take folic acid tablets for 3 months and start trying. Am no expert but if you feel you are ready then I would say go with it.
