Fleshy fish - .5 Kg garlic - 3-4 pods Ginger - one small piece shallots( chuvannulli)- 6 to seven Curry leaves - 2 stems Mustard - few Uluva(fenugreek) - few tamarind ( Kudampuli) - 2 peieces, soaked in one glass of water salt Chilly powder - 2 tsp turmeric - 1/4 tsp Washa nd clean the fish, drain and keep aside. aadd little coconut oil in a pan and splutter the fenugreeks and mustard. Crush the ginger and garlic and add them to oil... when it starts to change color add the crushed shallots too.after it starts turning to brown, add turmeric and chillypowder and curry leaves. once it is cooked, add the tamaring soaked in water. Transfer the ingrediants to a earthernware vessel and let il start billing. Add fish pieces and let it cook closed witha lid on sim.
