Looking for friends in Edmonton

    Hello everyone,
    I am Anju,we moved to Edmonton last year from Calgary.I hardly know few people here ,I am looking for friends here to have some good time. I am a homemaker and mu husband is Engineer by profession. I have two lovely daughters 1 & 3 graders. I am a fun loving person ,I love to host parties,pot lucks , chit chat and hang out with friends. My hometown is Jaipur and I can speak Hindi and English. I live in Millwoods area.It is very difficult to find friends here , if anyone is also looking for some good friends I am always here.Looking forward to hear from you soon.

    Hi Anju,
    I am planning to move Edmonton this year end . Pls suggest which area is good to live and school as my kids grade 3 and 6. In ur experience which place is good Calgary or Edmonton . My poe is Calgary . Thanks a lot tc aparna

    Nice to see your reply.Good to know that u r moving to a Edmonton. I think Millwoods is a good place to consider as u will find lot of Indians around ,all Indian stores are also nearby.Don't worry about the schools as you will find one in every community wherever u choose to stay.Well between Calgary and Edmonton definitely I like Calgary more as I had a large friend circle there and more happening. One more thing if you are coming in year end thick woolen coats as this place gets very cold from Nov to March.Plz free to ask me if u want to know anything else about the place.

    Hi Anju...I am very new to Edmonton and feel very depressed with no freinds around esp during the weekends. I am a 39 year old, Single, south Indian girl, looking for some good freinds and have some nice company. I speak very good hindi. Thanks Shanthi
