On a suday morning, a pharma company agent Miss Ridhima - educated, young and beautiful girl has an appointment with Prof Ram, to buy patency rights for a medicine that cures cancer. Ram asks his advocate Mr Madhav to be present with paper work. Madhav is a frustrated young married man leading a troubled married life and has a young son too. Prof. Ram has to leave to a neighboring village early in the morning, so leaves a note with keys to Ridhima, asks her to await his return to finalize the deal. Its a big bunglow, with a beautiful garden, pond...u know fishes, rabbits, pigeons, greenery, mangoes, cuckkoos, and flowers...is the scene. Madhav arrives at the house, already frsutrated that he had to miss his son Jambu's cricket match.

To kill the time they talk, sing, talk and still bored they decide to play a drama. Wife n Husband Drama. Plot is, wellwishers send ever quarelling wife n husband to this peaceful location to dicuss and resolve their issues in a calm manner with out any disturbances. without them realizing both get involved in the drama, Madhav (emotionally troubled), sees and hears his wife Sudha in thedialogues and drama. He keeps sayign to himself its not sudha and its justa a play....soon he would loose control and tries to hurt her, his anger frustration reaching peak becomes a psycho, plans to get rid of her forever....Will he kill his wife Sudha or the actress Ridhima or will he kill himself or what.....audience have to watch the show to know that.....else theater owners would beat me black n blue for killing the suspense.

Pudhiya Paravai: a rich man (Sivaji Ganesan) meets the heroine(Saroja Devi) on a ship & falls in love. On the day of their engagement, a woman( Sowcar Janaki) claiming to be his 'dead wife' comes. The hero has a tough time in proving that she is a fake. What happens then????????? This movie had some hit songs including the haunting Paatha Nyabagam Iliayo.
A rip -off from a holly wood thriller, this movie is made in different indian languages. The hindi version featuring Mithun Chakravathy was OK.

Anita(Hindi) starring Sadhna : Same director with same cast and even Sadhana in the same mysterious woman type role when we compare it with Woh Kaun Thi. The difference is that B&W movie Woh Kaun Thi is better than this coloured one. The music is melodious here also. The weak points are also the same as WKT.

Shikaar(Hindi) starring Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar - An outstanding murder mystery starring Dharmendra-Sanjeev Kumar-Asha Parekh with a forest backdrop, will keep you guessing about the murderer till the very end.

Baat Ek Raat Ki(Hindi) starring Dev Anand : Again directed by Shankar Mukherjee starring Dev Anand only but opposite Waheeda Rehman. This B&W movie is a very good murder mystery with some good songs.

Raaz(Hindi) starring Rajesh Khanna : The debut movie of Rajesh Khanna and Babita. Some very good songs and a good mystery. However the treatment of the plot is not that good

Soldier (Hindi) starring Bobby Deol, Preity Zinta : This Bobby Deol-Preity Zinta starrer is perhaps the best mystery directed by Abbas Mustan.

Ye Raat Phir Na Aayegi ( Hindi) - This Biswajeet-Sharmila Tagore starrer mystery having all time classic melodious songs composed by O.P. Nayyar alongwith the impressive performance of the acting legend, Prithvi Raaj Kapoor, is thoroughly enjoyable.

Duniya (Hindi) : This Dev Anand-Vyjayanthimala-Balraj Sahni starrer is a sensational murder mystery with some very good songs. The court-room tussle between rival lawyers Dev Anand and Balraj Sahni adds spice to the mystery.

Poonam Ki Raat (Hindi) : This Manoj Kumar-Nandini-Kumud Chhugani starrer directed by Kishore Sahu, is also a murder mystery whose psychological basis may sound interesting to the psychiatrists.

Bahaaron Ki Manzil (Hindi) : Meenakumari-Dharmendra-Rehmaan starrer engrossing mystery which, despite its flaws and untied loose ends, keeps the viewer guessing regarding the truth behind the curtain till its very end.

Sabaash ( Tamil ) this was a low budget movie but raised many eyebrows by its twists and turns..wonderful acting by Parthiban... parthiban acted as visually impaired and parthiban's wife Divya Unni commits suicide... his best friend gets blamed for murder attempts on Parthiban... how the whole plot unveils was interestingly taken..

Not sure about the name of this Malayalam movie kavya menon plays dual role one a very good artist and other happily married.. one of them gets killed during train journey.. suresh gopi investigates and finds out the shocking culprit...

Puriyatha pudhir.... Another Tamil movie and I think its debut for KS ravikumar.. a convict escapes... accidentally meets his long lost friend who had just murdered her abusive husband... he helps her friend discard the body but they end up being blackmailed by someone.. as the climax comes many shocking truths come out... raghuvaran's acting was so good.. his "I know.. I know" dialogue was used for mimicries by almost all comedians...

Unmai: Dubbed from malyalam , this Mammoty starrer is loosely based on Rajiv Gandhi assasination. The movie is good with no unnecessary romantic tracks or songs.

Satham podathey. Another Tamil movie with beautiful songs... its about a girl who gets divorce from abusive and alcoholic hubby.. falls in love and gets married to a friend of her brother only to get bizzarely killed.. who does what comes with twists and turns... prithviraj, padmapriya and nithin satya acted well in this movie...

Anjathey.. cop movie where good for nothing guy gets in a career by bribing and influence whereas his friend whose aim of being a cop ends due to less cut off... young girls gets kidnapped for ransom and hero investigates them..how he and his friend end up being enemies was well narrated... pandiarajan and Prasanna were too gud..

Yutham sei.... another miskin film... corpses dismembered found in public places.. hero investigates it along with his search for his sister who goes missing... this film received reviews... except for cheran's crying and ameer's dance everything was gud...

Elder sister gets married to a good person sincere, no bad habits kind of person and is a police officer residing in hilly area. other sister college gogin, bubbly types. One days she gets the news that her sister is dead in an accidnet. goes to BIL house. fidns the truth that the BIL himself killed his wife andher sister. Oru CBI Diary Kurippu - This film is the first in the series of the CBI investigative thrillers featuring Mammootty as CBI officer Sethurama Iyer.

It is about a apparent suicide of Omana. Initial police report would be that she committed suicide by falling off the building. Omana's family don't believe in the suicide report and get CBI to investigate.
