An easy puzzle. Each image is an independent clue. Images in the orange box collectively signify an additional clue. What/whom do the images represent?
Identify the personality. Use the rows separately each to start off. Middle row more useful to confirm than to identify.
Aaj kare so kal kar, kal kare so parson ...? I din't try to actually 'solve' this - just went with the first thought that came into my head. May be wrong ... anyhoo.. R, is this your first puzzle? Whoa!
Can we use this puzzle to talk about how we are framing an array/a grid of clues? Row#1: Indira Gandhi: Operation Woodrose, biography - Rose of India AR Rehman: Roja Movie Shakespeare poster: A rose by any other name would smell as sweet We have our clue here "Rose". Row#2: Something to do with Indian classical dance Row#3: Something to do with feminine grooming/ shringaar There is so much Indianness in the puzzle that it cannot be Rose like in Rosa Parks so you look for other roses or other names for roses. How about other translations for rose like Gulab ..famous dancers and are Gulab ... There's Gulab Bai, the founder of the Great Gulab Theatre Company (Nautanki theatre) and winner of Padma Shri. But row#2 is dance not theatre and what about that shringaar from row#3. Hold on ...but "bai" denotes "woman" , "femininity" so row#3 could be bai ..which means Row#1: Gulab Row#3: Bai Row#2: Nautanki (ref: Middle row more useful to confirm than to identify) Tell me, why is my reasoning wrong because I know for sure my answer is wrong because I don't know how to map it to "Aaj kare so kal kar, kal kare so parson" unless that is some play. If I hadn't read sokanasanah's hint, I would have picked "Gulab Bai". On reading that oblique clue, I am stumped.
Googling words /names from Row 1 would give the name. Creative googling. Combinations. Row 3 is very specific to the person. Identify the right-most picture in Row 3 and then link it to other two images. Row 2 confirms the personality. Just googling row 2 will return many possibilities (I think).
@Rihana, I got it. What an opportunity this person got to perform in front of major personalities throughout the world? Born out of Indo-US collaboration. Viswa
Yes. Believe it or not,the idea came from the Carnatic music/audiences discussion in Gabfest. Is Trump going to visit India? The mind shudders to think of what that collaboration can serve up.
