Thank you so much. I had to shut it down as not many people were interested. The quote you mentioned is a good one!!
Lovely poem with a great message! Reminded me of Master Yoda's advice in star wars "Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering" .. Way to get out of that cycle!
Pooja, an effective and uncommon collection of les mots juste (sp ?) in the poem -- bony, brittle, emaciated, exhumed, depreciated. Nicely done. Easy to read and connect to. Coming to the content and message, I have over time developed a rule which is like the popular unscientific 5-second rule or the 2-minute rule. The 5 second rule is that it is OK to pick up food that falls on the floor in under 5 seconds as not many germs would have got attached to it. The 2-minute rule is that if a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it now, don't mark it for later. If someone or something hurts you in any way, efficiently process it, take some action if necessary, put it behind you and move on. The "efficiently" can vary, but don't turn your reaction into a project. Perform your own version of forgive and/or forget and move on. les mots juste - not sure of the spelling. *you/your used in a general sense here, not referring to the poet. : )
Thank you so much. I must say you said it very well. We all need to learn to move on. Someone once told me that everyone you come across, you come across because of Karma. If someone does something bad to you, it is because you would have done something bad to them in past lives. Now you can take revenge which will lead to equal reaction on their part in next lives or you can forgive and close the chapter.
