    Once again in UK, there was a terrorist attack in Manchester and it was horrible. How and why a human will do this beyond my understanding. Young lives were taken away in a second and how anything could justify this barbaric act? It HURTS. This happened in the name of a faith. But that is one minor group’s idealisation.

    The facts are, 22 lives were taken away and many more are getting treated. Fears had been imbibed in hearts of many. At the same time, act of kindness had been exhibited during the tragic hour and afterwards in many ways. The government is trying it’s best to tackle the aftermath and avoid any future events as such. The media is giving so importance to negative part of this story and talking about the killer and his associates. It is important to track them down at the same time it spreads negativity so much so that it affects many innocent people who are from the same faith or ethnicity.

    Back in our homes when we grow up, we all know neighbours and we know what they are up to. But the society we live in now, we don’t even know who our next door neighbours are? We lack socialisation and being empathetic. Urgent call is needed to increase everyday kindness and bring communities together. I so believe that only love and belongings to each other could bring people together and avoid/stop atrocities. If we are connected with each other then there is no way a thought could form in your mind which might hurt your friends. It is our responsibility to instil this in our kids and we can only pray there shouldn’t be no more mayhems among us.

    Take it one day at a time. There is a lot of evil in this world. If you start thinking about all the unfairness that is going around in the world, children dying, people being murdered and robbed, terrorism, natural disasters, famine - you will go mad. Just be happy you are at a place where you don't have to face such situations. I know its natural to feel empathy for victims of Manchester, but the reality is that in today's world , every minute someone somewhere is falling victim to a tragedy. And the worst part is - we as an individual can do nothing about it. Because there are some things that are not in our hands. We can not do anything about it.
    Be kind, be happy, be empathetic towards people around you. Stay safe and stay happy.

    Why blame others , blame ourselves,
    even we love to be part of this competitive world , we are so stressed and self centred, that we forget about others our neighbours, our own people.
    now nobody wants to get involve in others matter... we are isolated people in a way ...
    You just see where is the world going ... facebook, whtsapp u c people have no time to take care of their parents, but on facebook u will see them doing charity in orphanage... isn't it hypo critic...

    Dear @ASHUASHU, Thank you very much. My intention is not to blame others. I have my flaws and weaknesses but certainly I will not categorise my self as a hypo critic. All I want and will do my best is to be kind and helpful and improve myself everyday towards better. This incident affected me so much as I am in the same country and I have children at the same age who lost their lifes. I also understand, like this many are dying everyday. If we can avoid at least some of this unnecessary attacks, wouldn't our world will change better as well? I don't know. Thank you.

    @girvani
    A couple of years back there was a TV ad in which a child grabs her skinny father's hand and declares loudly and proudly that 'My daddy is the strongest!' Possessiveness comes in various hues and at times it takes a nasty fanatic dimension. Religious fanaticism is the worst of all. It is nothing new. It has been there throughout the world from time immemorial. Of late, it has taken a very violent form. Religious leaders do not teach non-violence anymore. They encourage violence to establish the supremacy of their own religion. If you care to google for religious wars, you will be amazed by their antiquity and magnitude. Humanity has survived through all these crises. It will continue to survive.

    Dear Vani,
    Just a few days after Manchester terror attack another terror attack at Jakarta in which three police officers were killed and eleven civilians injured. All religions preach only peace. But some religious fanatics indulge in these kind of barbaric activities. In spite of this as Mr Cheeniya has said humanity will servive.
    There was a time when people lived in independent houses and joint family system prevailed. Now even if parents and offsprings live in the same city they prefer to live separately.

    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Thank you so much. I will look into the historical religious wars. I am really interested to how did they end and what made a new war to start. Thank you for guiding me.

    Op, I
    Good thoughts. As you said lets pray for peace in the world. Maybe all our prayers will be heard and world will become a better place.
