Where can buy good kurtis in chennai? Hi friends, Could someone suggest good shops where I can get good kurtis(designer ones, cotton & trendy silk ones etc). I don't have any exp. With kurtis(first time). I might need some suggestions from the sales person too. So pls. Re: Where can buy good kurtis in chennai? I shop at two places in Madras. One is Orange Harvest in T.Nagar 9( old North Boag Road) . Have a very nice collection and very unique. They have a fiiting room and owner visit sthe place everyday. Assistants are helpful. Other one is Hit or Miss in Mylapore. Owners are very nice. I heard they moved near Vivekanada College. Hi ladies , T-nagar is the best place in chennai for shopping chudidhar materials,readymade chudidhar and kurtas .There are n number of tailoring shops in T-nagar Ranganathan street ,some famous shops are Bismi tailors,Nisha tailors ,Magesh tailors ,PVP complex etc they do excellent stitching that too within an hour . Prices are really cheap compared to other place Rs.90 for ordinary salwar ; RS - 180 for lining Chudidhar ; Rs - 20 etc for gathering/push back pant, Rs - 10 for overlock . Best shops are Pothys,RMKV,Textile India,Kalanjiyam,Chennai Silks , Saravana stores , for cheap price u can also check with roadside vendors but u have to bargain and also check for the quality by luck we may get both good as well as bad clothes .

Hi friends, T-nagar , chennai is the best place for buying sarees , trendy chudidhars and kurtas at a reasonable price . some of the best shops are Pothys, RmkV , Chennai Silks , Textile India . They do have trial rooms dnt wry sales girls will help you in Predicting your apt fit kurta .Before that you can also measure yourself using inch tape to know your size . usually there are 5 kurta sizes namely - Extra small,Small,Medium,Large,Extra Large .In these shops they also arrange all the items according to the price range with big price boards so that its easy for us to look into the price range which matches our budget .
