can i chant the mantra 108 times everyday with out doing the kubhera pooja on thursdays. please let me know
i want to do kubera pooja once but not planned yet but i want to chant the mantra.

I started my Kuber pooja on Diwali 2010 and have been chanting the mantra everyday since then. I did the Hawan 108 times with the following mantra.

"Om yakashyaya kuberaya Veaishravanaya
dana danyathpathaye

Every thursday i use the kuber kolum (i use the computer printout) and offer red flowers, sindoor, one cent coin on each number, haldi, rice flour, red dora as mala, a piece of fruit, usually dates, grapes. I chant the mantra everyday but the kolum pooja is done once a week and on Thu's

Results:
Lets say i am debt free now, have money coming in from places i never thought. There is power in this pooja and all you need to do is do the pooja with belief. I used to eat meat 7 days before but now since i started doing Pooja, i went vegetarian 5 days a week and only eat non-veg on Sat/Sun. Health has also improved...
Also get a good astrologer as this is very important to know what bad time you are going through. Its very hard to explain everything here but basically this is what i have started doing and so far with Kuber's blessing, things are going the way i had hoped.

I also wear rudraksha (5 and 7) but i am waiting for my 21 mukhi from Nepal. I also have the kuber Yanta placed facing North at the pooja Alter. Also the kuber murti should be facing North as its the direction of Kuber.

If someone is interested, i can give detailed step by step instructions as to how the pooja i did. I dont know if i am 100% correct but with my limited knowledge, i did what i thought was right. I believed in what i did and never second guessed myself. I guess Sharda and bhakti counts

Hi Friend,

I want one clarification. Right now I’m performing Kuber lakshmi puja I have completed 11th day. I have made sakalappa to do 48days vrat nothing but 9weeks of Friday. I’ve purchase kuberalakshmi aradhana book and performing the pooja as per that book. But day before yesterday one poojari visited our home and told this pooja should not be performed by us. He did not give me perfect reason, but he told me to do udyappa on 12th day .Please guide me whether i should continue this puja or not.

Further he informed me this pooja should be done by age of 8 or above 50year (After stopping monthly periods).
And he informed me there should not be any discontinuity at any cost. e.g.: I asked him can any, one can lamp the light in front of god in my absence? He informed no it should be done by you itself. So you can, do this pooja for 48days. Again I raised a question on my absence (monthly period) 5days can I count 6th day as my continuing day.
I mean if I had completed 20days and my period start on 21st day till 25th I cannot perform puja. 26th day can I count it as 21day of my puja for that he told it is not possible. So please anybody who knows about this advice me.

I like to correct my line , So you can, do this pooja for 48days - Instead of this line it should be "So you cannot, perform this pooja for 48days".
