I have watched the original agneepath. mithun in a character role. I thought it was too violent. but i have been thinking the new one is disgustingly violent,.and it gets a thumbs down from me for the violence that comes through even in the trailers..though sanjay as a villain could make you sit and watch..

These days the teasers, the trailers, and leaking one song is a trend..meri chammak challo was leaked and was hit for many days before the movie...

 

Old Agneepath was a major disaster with Big B speaking in a very gruff voice not liked by his fans.A very forgettable movie.
But KJ will hype it up so that people go and watch this version.

 

Yeah, they all know how to market their products. Ra.One was heavily marketed but at the end of the day, the film turned out to be like a heavily shaken soda- all the fizzles were out leaving the bottle with less/no contents.

And KJo is definitely a marketing king. I still remember how he used to heavily market his KKKG- they had a special interview where all the stars were nicely dressed with color co-ordination etc, with all of them saying only nice things about one another...man! If only any of them were actually true...phew...

And til' date I still can't believe I watched and enjoyed KKKG without noticing all the flaws that is so apparent to the eyes now :bang

 

Hrithik was chosen over Jr.B. In koffee with Karan,Jr.B has expressed it. Star son doesn't make anyone a star actor. Jr.B has to understand that.
On Rapid fire round Karan would ask everyone Abhisek or Hrithik, who the better actor?...obviously everyone will chose Hrithik. The total season 2 was an insult to Abhi.

 

Well, it's obvious that people were gonna choose Hrithik rather than Abhishek. And I think Hrithik deserves it. Though his dad was an actor and director, Hrithik worked his way up to the level he is now. I remember Hrithik himself saying how magazines used to so cruel to him with one such magazine even printing his picture with the words 'He's Finished'. All these happened when he was facing a number of flops after Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Thus, he went on and worked harder than before before striking it gold with his father's Koi Mil Gaya. Even then, he had to face some criticisms from SRK.:spin

OTOH, I doubt Abhishek would have survived if not for Mani's Yuva. That's the film that changed his whole career and he started getting good films after that. I still cannot forgive Maniratnam for reviving this guy's career. :evil:
