    1.When you grate raw mangoes,do not remove the skin .When you make udad vadas you can add the grated mangoes,they taste yummy.
    2.When you make pickles heat oil and add the pickles stay fresh longer.
    3.To preserve thokkus,add lime juice to it.
    4.When prepare chapati dough add 1/2 cup or one cup milk,the chapatis are soft and no need to add oil when you roast them on the tawa.
    5.Make gulab jamuns and roll it in sugar powder,you get yummy dry gulab jamuns.
    6.Grate ginger in cheese grater and use it cooking.It enhances cooking flavor.
    7.As soon as you buy gingelly oil add small ball of palm jaggery to it,it prevents the oil from turning rancid .
    8.When you prepare vegetable cutlet or cutlet out of greens add some cooked rice to make cutlets soft.
    9.When you prepare fried rice or vegetable rice add some boiled corn,it enhances the color of the dish.
    10.When you make pongal dry roast rice or dha before you cook it ,it keeps the dish fresh for long.
