Karadaiyan nonbu 2012 US EST

    I see the timings for Karadaiyan nonbu for USA as - Panguni Masam begins at 0021 hrs on March 14, 2012 Eastern Standard Time

    That is between 13th late night 14th early morning.


    So should we fast from 13th morning (Tuesday) and break it at 13th night/14th early morning 0021 hrs. ?? Please clarify

    Hi gambilgumbil u should take raw rice as food on 13th morning and night for dinner at 7.30p.m u can take chapathi with dal.again before make adai u should take bath.and prepare the ada and arrange other matter i mean keep vettrilai pakku nonbu charadu.and perform puja.since in your this time nonbu is early in the morning so u can take breakfast as usual on the next day i mean after nonbu.
    wait and see what other il ladies r saying.

    I was about to post this question about timing and good to see you've already done that.

    So when should we actually tie the nombu is it 13th night or 14th morning ?

    I usually do it on 14 th like in India. Now that I joined IL I think I'll get to know the right time. Waiting eagerly for the exact details.

    did you consult the timings in temple?if it is 13th night we have to fast from morning.

    Ranchu i think it should be in 13night itself

    Correctaa theriyuma ? My mom told me according to US time if its midnight then I need to do it on 14th morning after panguni month is born .
    Is that ok ?
