Hi! I saw this thread just now because I think it was revived today. I too make lovely nonbadais and its always a hit in our house - both the salt and the sweet versions. But being keralite iyers one variation in our recipe is that I add finely chopped jackfruit pieces at the time of adding cooked karamani and coconut. The adai tastes really yummy. My colleagues long to have these adais every year!!! Moreover this karadayaan nonbu festival also comes when the jackfruit season is on!!
