    Dear Lalitha

First of all thank you for opening this wonderful thread and sorry for telling about this so late. Sometimes by brain does not work properly. I am like tubelight. Glad that I was able to tell about my lucky and her family.

Nice to know about your Romeo and Juju is looking very cute. My son also has a pet dog and looks like your Juju only. Her name is Amber. Sad to know about your Romeo and Julietwho were there earlier. Theylook so cute. Can imagine how you must have felt losing them.

Thank you for uploading Lucky's and her kids photo. So sweet of
    you .

My hubby was very fond of all the cats and ya it was surprising to see him to be so fond of them. Once someone had come home and they were getting irritated seeing them. So I sent them out and closed the windows. My dh got very angry and in that anger he said for five generations you wont have children. I know he must have said it because he felt very bad for those cats. So much he likes them. They used to be so free in our house and all the children who used to come to our house used to be happy seeing them. Some used to call me Poonai patti or poonai aunty. Now everyone asks us how are the cats. Once cats grow big you cant take them anywhere. This being a rented house the owner will not allow us to keep the cats.

Lalita nice to see your Aquarium. The golden fish look so cute.

My daughter and son in law had Rabbits in Dubai where they were staying. About eight or more were there. They used to buy special food for them from the Mall, like carrots, leafy vegetables etc. My son in law had a house made for them in the ground front of their house and used to take good care of them, cleaning their house etc.

    Sorry for the long post.

    Dear dear Kanaka,

Reading your post was so heartwarming and I am extremely happy to know that you appreciatedt his thread and loved the experience of interacting with our like minded friends who are genuine animal lovers .
Wonderful to read about your sisters Spitz doggie Stephie.......pretty name!

Enjoyed reading all her antics.....chasing bullock carts .....she definitely was one brave tough girl to stand up to such huge animals !

Her intelligence is remarkable ....imagine escorting guests on Navarathri to the dolls display like a perfect hostess!

Small breeds like the Spitz live upto 15 years and so she did her full term and contributed to spreading happiness and good cheer in the family .Our Spitz Juliet left us this year on 18th April at age 14 and 8 months.

Please do convey my greetings to your dear sister who is doing such a magnanimous job of feeding stray dogs too .... my eyes welled up when I read this....these humble dumb creatures depend on such kind acts for survival .We have 3 strays around or home too that we feed.

Kanaka , believe me the breed or pedigree does not matter....the devotion and loyalty of the canine world is unparalleld and they live just for their owners ....they just need a little food ,and tons and tons of loving care from us .A little pat or hug will send their tails wagging away .

Hope you will get your own pet soon and post pictures here and write about the fun you are enjoying.

PAULINA - thanks for starting this thread- with no admission fee our pet is Pearly - she - lab - now eight months old. what a cute one- had a touch time in trying to train her. when she was having teething problem ,she chewed the hand rest of our sofa - instead we gave a coconut with the mattai[coir] she started to chew on it and within a few minutes our room would be filled with coir and had to remove it. now she is learning and is resciprocating to our commands- she considers Hrishi to be her boss .when she is hungry she now barks and we know it is feeding time. i am sharing her photo will post others later-

Hi dear Viji....I'll call you Poonai FAN just as the kids call you by different terms of endearment ...Poonai paati/Poonai aunty!
A warm welcome back with more news of your pets.
What really astounds me is the fact that your DH is a die hard Poonai FAN and cannot tolerate any injustice to your Poonai clan .
How much you both must be missing your Kitty friends I can well imagine .Hope they found good loving people back there .
So you are all definitely a family of Animal lovers .Please post your son's doggy picture ...AMBER is such a lovely name .If Amber looks like our Juju ,then you have a Basset hound ! Please post pictures here if you can.
Your daughters rabbit family of 8 must be a delight to watch .It must be quite a tough job rearing rabbits I think as they have to be tended to carefully with cage cleaning work .But they are so furry and lovable.
It is such a happy time we are all having by interacting here at the Pets Club as you said .Good to exchange notes.Hope you can get some rabbit pictures from your daughter in Dubai.

    Hi yummy custard!

The fabulous pictures of your Dob RUBY is making this thread yummier and yummier .
I just love her shiny coat, expressive eyes and chubby paws....looks like she has had a manicure at a beauty parlour ....so perfectly aligned are the claws !!

The picture with her sitting on the chair seems to be telling a story .....Maybe her thoughts in her puppy mind ran like this .." Heavens !! why did they put me up on this chair ...i'm so afraid of heights ...what if they forget to take me down?? I may sprain my dainty legs if I try to jump off ...guess I better wait till they come and lift me down ...!!! "

This picture is really sad after the caption and details you wrote about Pintu's departure to his heavenly abode .
Ruby looks so sad almost asking..." Where is my sweet heart Pintu gone? He did not wait for me to dress up in my bridal finery....I miss him so much "
Our hearts really go out to her.
