    We too have given to children. But quantity of jadhikai should be very less. Your mother has brought you up so what she advise you is right.

    Thank You Mimur, but the problem is my granny used to take care of all the process. So, my mom was only aiding her. And inspite of all jadikai and masikai substances, she could not make me sleep . Now she just says is just the remake of all I had done. :bowdown

    Me too have given these things to my sons.
    Whenever, he used to get stomach pain, My mom used to apply sutta vasambu on his stomach. It will relieve the pain.

    I too have given this 'urai marundu' to my DS.we used to give him in

    alternate days after taking the head bath.we also gave Asafoetida daily at night for digestion.

    Hi
    I use this for my daughter and her sleeping pattern has improved quite a bit. She is now 6.5 months old. I can see the difference if and when I discontinue it's use. So for how long can I continue giving this to her?

    Thanks for the reply dear :) Just visiting the forum after a long time. Now my girl is 13 months and as you have mentioned I stopped giving the med at around 10 months. Her sleep pattern is still poor but i have stopped worrying about it ;)

    My DD is 2 1/2 months old and I fund this post after breaking my head with her having projectile vomitting every now and then. Let me try it out and see. Thanks to all.
