Is Walnuts And Pistaschios Are Must During Pregnancy

    Hi am in 19ty week of pregnancy and from past month am taking soaking badham 10 no daily in the morning..but I don't like walnuts and pista..my question is is it must to have walnuts and pista during pregnancy??just from two days am taking flaxseed powder one spoon daily by mixing with jagerry and dry coconut..or badham is enough for baby growth as Omega-3 substitute..plz advise.. Thanks

    Walnut has more omega 3 than badam. Badam has full of vitamin E. Walnut helps in brain growth. When you deeply look out a walnut it resembles our brain`s shape. That`s the message from nature.

    Are you taking vitamin supplements?
    You can rotate the nuts and take different one each day so you can get benefits of all of them . You are worried too much . Be happy and enjoy the pregnancy.

    Am taking calcium and iron tab only... nothing aelse specially for vitamins... ofcource worrying about my baby bcoz the baby came into my life after a lot of waiting and struggle...I know how much pain I went to all these years to call my self as a mother...
    The thing is I hate all dry fruits,..that to walnuts those are taste less but if it's must to baby brain development means I will try to take it..

    My doctor friend advises that badam soaked in drinking water for an hour or so and then the skin peeled off would be more easily and fully absorbed in stream. Skin acts as inhibitors.

    If you don't like to have walnuts or any nuts as such,try it in the powder form in milk or yogurt.

    Thanks for your suggestion..it's a good idea where I can mix it with flax seed and can have .. ofcource am nonveg onl but take very less..

    Try to soak the walnuts overnight along with Badam. It enhances the taste and nutritional value of walnuts.
