Is that necessary for 20th week ultra sound scanning

hi,

I would like to know is that necessary for 20th week ultra sound scanning. Because that not covered with my insurance. I have to pay deductible and co pay 30%. I dont know what to do. Is this u/s is for what purpose to take, To know the gender or something else. Need your advise. I checked with the radiology, they said without insurance 500 $, But i dont know if it goes to Insurance it will be the same amount or it may go more.

20th week scanning is is done to detect for any anomaly I believe.The doctor would be able to tell if everything is alright with the baby.They will look for any major defects in the baby.

20 week US is for determining any abnormalities in foetus growtha nd i suggest please go for it if you don't have any financial issues.

20th week is must it checks for abnormality of the baby if any...
please try to change ur insurance or change to 90-10%

Like all the replies, I also suggest that you take the scan. Even if you don't want to change the outcome after knowing (I hope to God, that everything is normal) any thing out of ordinary, at least you will be prepared when the baby is here.

20th week scan is must!!! Actually, It will very nice to see ur baby in 20th week scan.
They will check and show ur baby's face, heart and almost all parts!!!
Dont miss it!!!
