    Hi,

I wanted to know if an online MBA from Madurai kamaraj university recognized in the US as a graduate level program, or will they consider it as a bachelor's degree?
has anyone done their MBA from this university?

    Hi

......If it's a quality Indian college (and is recognizable by the hiring manager), then it won't matter. But if it's not well-known, as a hiring manager, I would place less confidence in the degree. This is because MBA studies involve more than just course work, it requires contact with the business world (especially US businesses, as in internships or informational interviews). A smaller Indian institution wouldn't be able to offer that kind of exposures to its students...........

.....If your MBA came from a school accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) that accredits MBA and PGDM programs across India, your degree should be recognized in the USA. If an employer questions the AICTE accreditation then provide them with the following information:.....

....MBA from an accredited college in india is good enough..what will definitely make a difference is that management being such an applied field what will matter more is your performance......and since you ask if an indian MBA is not accepted after all then with a minimum of two year of work experience in india itself you can opt for a one year executive program in the US itself.....but to be frank buddy you wont have a problem at all.....even better if you have a community service record just for reference.........
