I have been desperately trying to get Indigo powder for my grey hair, but I am not able to find it anywhere here in Kuwait.I will be travelling to Chennai on thursday and I recently saw the advertisement of a product named INDICA, Herbal hair colour. Is this product pure Indigo or does it have chemicals? Please reply!
Thanks Asha! But still it is not clear if it is completely herbal or chemical based. When I go to India I'll check out the cover. Bye !
Dear Swasal, You can get Indigo powder in chennai. Its totally herbal. I have used it and it is wonderful. The shop name is "The Eco-nut health food shop" Regards shashu
Dear Friend, Indica hair colour is different from indigo [powder. Indigo powder is like henna powder while the indica hair colour is a dye powder . I know wheter it is purely herbal as it claims it to be. Any way the indogo powder is available in ECo nut food shop, IInd avenue Besant nagar chennai. It is on the first floor of the building where SBI is localed in the 2nd avenue. I was infromed by the shop owner that 250 grms pack of the powder costs you Rs60. geetha
Hi Sashu, I too used the indogo powder for the first time on sunday. Please clarify the following points: 1 Is there a necessity to add salt while mixing 2. The mix is too sticky and after allowing the mix to stand for about 1 and half hours in my hair i found that it had sticked on to my hair and the hair was in strangles even after rinisng wiht three to four buckets of water. I was forced to use a shampoo. How to get rid of this thank you for the aqdvice in advance geetha
Could you please give the proper method of using this Indigo powder please? Like whether it can be mixed with Henna or can be used separately and when etc. geevee
After applying hair colour it fades in a day. Does anyone have a home remedy or touch up remedy for this ? Thanks
