Indian passport for US born child

    HI Ladies

    We are expecting our second baby in January 2014. My husband is on H1 and I am on H4.
    By birth the baby will automatically get citizenship and will be eligible for a US passport. But we want a Indian passport for our baby (Reasons best known and best understood only to him:idontgetit:).

    Has anyone of you done this? Got an Indian passport for US born child staying in US? If yes, then how did you manage to get the visa stamped by staying here itself?

    Please tell me if you have any clue about this.

    you can get PIO or OCI card for US born NRI kid.If you want indian passport then you need to forego US citizenship is what i guess.
