Got married & came to Dubai. I have 2 children, daughter who has just got married & son who is studying in India. I am working in admin for a private company. Hi Thejasree here ! :wave Intro: Basically a Konkani, born and brought up in Cochin, husband from Bangalore, now settled in Dubai....Have been here for almost 3 yrs now. Initially worked on temp basis in 2 MNC's. Presently busy with my 18 month old daughter. Since i spent almost 30 years of my life in a joint family, i struggled to get adjusted when i came to Dubai, 3 months after marriage. My caring and loving husband made it easier for me... Hav gone thru the worst patches in life - Passing away of my father, one year and one month after my mother.....but there was a string to hold on to....GOD ....Prayers helped a lot during this time... I strongly believe in the power of Prayers. Education : Did schooling in a CBSE Co-ed school, B.com in a Convent, LLB in a Govt College, MBA by correspondence, and ICWAI thru Cochin chapter. Family: Husband working in Jebel Ali and we have an 18 month old daughter. In-laws settled in Bangalore. Myself: Hobbies include listening to music (hindi films, Carnatic classical, instumental, devotional etc..), reading anything and everything (used to read fiction earlier ...got to catch up again), trying out new recipes, Driving (was a passion before marriage -yet to take a DL in Dubai). I hav a strong inclination towards hindu customs and traditions and try to follow most of them even here.... I believe in fate.... and also strongly believe in the power of prayers.
