    Hi all,

I am Sangeetha.I am a new member.I live in Abu Dhabi on airport road.We are from Kerala but our mother tongue is Tamil.I have been taking tuitions for 11th and 12th std CBSE students for Physics for the past 7 years.

I have a daughter studying in KG2 in MerryLand.Next year I am planning to put my daughter either in Our own/St.Joseph's.Which one is better?I would like to choose a school which gives some weightage to extra curricular activities also apart from studies.

Hi, is this forum only for Indian ladies? I am a bengali, born and brought up in Canada and now have moved here in Abu Dhabi with my husband. I have a 5 years old son and I work full time. I have been here for a year but have not been able to make a single friend. I find Abu Dhabi to be so scattered with so many different nationalities. In Canada and USA where I studied, most of my friends were from India. I know more Hindi than Bengali! I hope I can be on this forum and meet some new friends! My husband is so busy that we dont socialize at all. I used to have such active social life in Canada. I used to be a part of Indian social group where I used to sing, organize cultural shows, fashion shows, children shows, cooking classes, new year parties etc etc..I find I feel I dont fit in anywhere here in Abu Dhabi. Am I the only one feeling this way? bonk

    Hi annapoorna,

Try Foodlands at airport road or Capitol Hotel or the games section on the 1st floor of Khalidiya Centre for organising birthday parties.
I recently attended a couple of them at these venues.
