    Any tea lovers out there?

How do you make your perfect cup?

Tips and suggestions for tea brands would be much appreciated.

I love teas. Green, fruit, herbal, regular teas and Kadak masala chai you name it I drink them.

The perfect tea is something you arrive at as per your preference. Some love the flavours and others love the colour.
I have a friend who loves Assam tea while a colleague loved Darjeeling only
The perfect one for me red roses in India and I also love Lipton yellow label with tea essence.

The regular tea is just about the right amount of milk water and tea dust ratio and the boiling time.

The Irani chai has loads of masalas added.

Then there is adrak wali where you add some crushed ginger and a few cardamoms for added flavour. Some add Tulasi too.

And of course there is a masala tea

Tetley British Blend is a perfect tea, every time. I drink 16 oz a tea while reading, in my special mug. Without that specific tea, my day seems very dull.

I also like Chinese and Japanese tea in restaurants, once in awhile.

i make my 'cutting chai' as they call it in mumbai, with milk. no water.

boil milk, add chai patti according to liking. (red label naturals is my favorite with elaichi, ginger etc)
add sugar again according to required sweetness and some elaichi powder. and it's done.

i make sure i boil it until that milky smell goes away

I love tea. I mix few pepper , cardamom, dry ginger powder, ajwain powder them in mixie and keep it. I keep pudhina leaves always handy. I sort them out from stem wash them and keep them in fresh cover in fridge. W/o that no tea. So whenever I make tea I mix this masala powder along with tea powder and few pudhina leaves. Heavenly taste. proportion is my proportion. He he

I love the flavour of mint or tulsi in my chai. I grow herbs in my backyard and fresh , home grown herbs always taste better than store bought .
