That's something I've come across less - ability to think so well in so many languages. I actually thought you learnt English as a result of going to an English medium school from kindergarten onward, like many of us Indians do.

Hmmm... do you ever find that the words needed for serious thinking are less used and hence feel odd?

How to get to that state? I am getting so good at life's to-do's that it is freeing up more time to think!

    :) :)

I recall a child telling me that she wants to go to the pani gir gaya park. In the era before GPS... took us a while to figure out which park has the . . . . . . . water fall. : )

I swear I read the above as "For my husband, it is ..."

That's a good one you pulled on me, you cheeky Ri!

I took a hard look at my mind language (ML) and realised that though my vocal language (VL) is English predominantly, the ML is still my native tongue. I do think in my native language and apply linguistic transformation to arrive at the ambient language. That might even explain the writer's stutter that I keep complaining of which I am working on these days. Huzzah! Such hitherto undetected latency root cause! My mind rattles with a lot of vulgar and barnyard native tongue, so, to vomit that crass out in respectable and decent English is another transformative phase in my chained act.

Even the ^ paragraph was constructed in my native tongue and translated into English and then overlaid with idiomatic proofer (does the like-for-like English translation sound alright)

Ha ha... Nope, My English was very basic until I entered my college. Perhaps after the 1st year I started to speak in English with ease. Earlier, all I knew was the alphabets and some words.
