    My dear Kamla,
It was so consoling to read your message.Rightly said that words are poor consolers ....yet when messages from dear friends (such as yours ) is read it does offer tremendous consolation. Thanks for stopping by .
We do miss her a lot and our poor Romeo is very subdued...things are slowly getting back on track.

    Dear artistic,

Thanks for your thoughtfulness and condoling.
As an ardent pet /animal lover you can identify the depth of feeling at the loss of a dear pet of 15 years.
Do write about your pets ....did you get another pet after the departure of the previous one?
I was very happy to read your concluding line..." May your Julie come back to you soon"....that was truly a spontaneous wish and I pray that it comes true and she comes into our lives in another pets form soon.

Her pictures show that she was a white Spitz. We lost our own male white Spitz on February 5, 2010, named Jerry, at the age of 13 due to autoimmune disorders/allergies caused by annual vaccinations. It suffered for six months from a variety of problems before dying in my husband’s arms who vainly tried to give it mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Ultrasounds and blood tests showed all organs working fine. Vets here just passed it off as senility related problems and would not even do a house visit. My husband kept requesting in vain to a vet surgeon-cum-radiologist here to do an endoscopy in the throat as the final problem was there. However, it seemed to give up due to trachea collapse.

I have copied my husband's signature to my e-mail addresses too. It is as follows:
Before you vaccinate your companion pets visit Viewer Viewpoint - Vaccinations: A Word of Caution for Our Animals
And give homemade food. Avoid pet packed kibbles full of cancerous additives and preservatives and waste meal.

    Dear Paulina,

My heartfelt condolences to you and Romeo. I just happened to login today and view this post. I cannot express my feeling. It was fun interacting with Julie through this forum.

May dear Julie's soul rest in peace.

    Malli dear,
So thoughtful of you to go over to my old post on my sweety pie Julie girlie. I cried again as I saw her lying there at peace. We have our Basset hound Julius who took her place ....we always have two dogs to keep each other company.....but each pet who departs from our lives forever will leave a void that can never be filled completely .We miss her a lot though the deep sorrow is much easier to bear after Julius took over with our old Romeo too adding to the comfort.
Julie will always remain special.Today she sleeps buried in our garden behind under the mango tree.
Thank you dear for sharing the pain ...only genuine dog lovers can do that....
