IMPON ( 5 metal ) Jewellery

    Hi,

    Recently i purchased a IMPON kolusu and bangle. Kolusu is still with the same shine inspite of me daily were and tear.. i felt surprised because, certainly its better than roldgold or 1-gram gold. Since i have not exposed the bangle much to water like that of anklets, cant comment much about it.

    What then strikes me is, what would be the 5 metals of IMPON.. i could guess BRASS , COPPER. Cant think of silver or Gold, since the bangle cost just 150 :) and kolusu 300 Rs/-

    If anybody knows abt it..pls share the knowledge and enlighten me :thumbsup

    Dear Nivee Sister,

    Aimpon should necessarily consist of Gold, Silver and Copper and any two of Tin, Zinc or Lead in the form of alloys known as Brass and Bronze. Bronze can be of differnt types, depending on the mixer of the Alloy. The quality of Aimpon and its shine depends on the ratio of the three metals and two alloys involved.
