I'm pregnant!

    Ladies,

    I finally took HPT and it came +ve. We are very happy and excited though little scared as we don't have anyone around.
    I got an appointment to see Gyn early next week. Keeping my fingers crossed.
    We have been planning for baby for less than a month. I met Gyn in end of Jan. to check if everything is ok before we TTC. She confirmed and meanwhile I had appointment to see family doc. in middle of Feb. and she did the pregnancy test (three days after I missed my period, thought my periods are irregular) and came negative. Since than it has been only 15 days and because I missed my period in Feb. I did pregnancy test today (March 1st) and it came Positive.
    So, I am not sure how many weeks, I am not seeing any symptoms except I was really feeling tired for couple of days in between but other than that, no symptoms at all.
    Please pray for us..and we are hoping everything is fine.

    Sethi : just hope for the good and keep your thoughts positive .. dont get too excited .. be normal , eat balanced diet, walking is fine dont do any other stressful exercise, dont lift any heavy things and have proper sleep.
    Avoid foods like papaya, mango, seseme seeds and any other foods which generates heat in the body.

    Thank you for your wishes. Are Dates good to eat this early? I am getting mix opinion for Dates.
    What else to avoid as far as our Indian food. I am vegetarian.

    :hide: actually i dono that.... goto wait another 15-20 days to know before next appointment...

    i was down with severe food poisoning (thats what we thought) so went to gyn... and they just said pregnancy confirmed... so i was vomiting :) and started me on the meds (folic/calcium, etc) and an appointment in a month!!
